[gentle music] Welcome to the Alchemy of Ascension Podcast, where we explore the multidimensionality of being divine presence embodied at this pivotal time between the old paradigm and the new earth.
0:15
As we raise our consciousness, our awareness, and anchor higher frequencies into the body, we alchemize, we transform, we activate, we ascend. This ascension practice is what I call inception.
0:32
As we bring more light and awareness into the body through the awakened heart, we become infinitely connected to all that is, the divine I am. I'm your host, Washayla Sananda.

We are all on this ascension journey together, growing and expanding as one big community of light. Thank you for doing your part and being part of this community. You are not alone.
1:14
Uh, and today it's my pleasure to bring you two very special guests, Kyle Boyd and Leah Rush. Welcome, Kyle and Leah. Thank you so much for having us. Thank you. It's an honor. I'm so excited to have you here.
1:30
So we've, um, done a few things together. You have the Heart Coherence Collaborative, or c- is it collective? Collaborative. [laughs] Yeah. [laughs] You were right. You were right. Collaborative.
1:40
The Quantum Healing Collective, Heart Coherence Collaborative. It gets confusing. Okay. Yes, yes, and you guys do a lot of stuff with heart coherence, which is so my wheelhouse. Yeah.
1:49
And, um, and so, you know, I've, I've been in your world a few times, and you do amazing events online where...
1:57
with meditations and, um, rather than me trying to explain what you do to everyone, I would love for you to explain in your own words a little bit about...
2:07
and you can do this individually or however you want, um, a little bit about your path and your work. Yeah. Yeah, I'll start. Um, it was like...
2:16
I know I, I wanna tell the story to you because you're a big Joe Dispenza, uh, student. And it was about seven years ago.
2:23
I was going through a really tough time in life, battling with addiction, just fearful of pretty much everything. Like, these childhood wounds were just rampant, and I was doing everything I could to drown them out.
2:35
And so one of my friends recommended reading Becoming Supernatural, and so I was reading Becoming Supernatural, and I was doing the, um, spinal cord breathing.
2:44
And I think you're familiar, where you, you know, shoot cerebral spinal fluid up to your pineal gland and put pressure on your pineal gland, and all of a sudden you're, like, releasing DMT.
2:54
And I was somebody who didn't really have spiritual experiences up until this point in my life. And so I, I'm doing this exercise, and all of a sudden this five-dimensional pyramid- [laughs]...
3:04
is in front of me, looking at me, and it has an eye on it. And it's the most loving creature I've ever experienced. And I'm like, in this moment, I felt so healed, like, from everything.
3:16
And, and I had been in a rough, rough spot. And so I'm feeling this loving energy, the realest creature I've ever seen in my life, like, all these little electrons just forming this beautiful thing.
3:27
And I come out of that, and I read the heart coherence chapter, which is the, the heart intelligence, which was the next chapter in the book.
3:35
And I'm reading this chapter on how we can transform all our trauma by accessing elevated states and changing our emotional baseline in life. And at that point,
3:46
this light bulb went off where I was like, "I need to practice this heart coherence thing regularly."
3:52
And really what it is is rhythmic breathing through your heart center and moving yourself into elevated emotions like gratitude, um, appreciation, can, can change who you are.
4:02
And so I started doing that, uh, got connected with the Institute of HeartMath, went to the Institute of HeartMath's Heart Mastery program taught by Shiva Kar, and just pretty much became obsessed with heart coherence and practicing heart coherence.
4:16
Surrounded myself with heart coherence communities just to hold myself accountable, met some of the most incredible people, and then started to connect with spiritual leaders around the world who are heart-based.
4:26
So that's a little bit of my quick background in heart [laughs]. Yeah, very cool. And then I met Leah through the heart [laughs], which was just wild.
4:36
And we formed The Heart Coherence Collaborative together, which has been such an ama- like, amazing journey. So... Yeah. So we will tell that story, 'cause it is a really good story.
4:45
Even just how we met and how it all came together is pretty magical. Um, my personal story is, um, I was given a lot to overcome. Um, I also felt like, you know, fear really ran my nervous system.
5:03
My first childhood memory is almost dying. Um, and then I had, uh, addiction stuff of my own. I almost died of cancer really young.
5:15
Um, which the cancer came about six months after my mom died really traumatically. So when I [laughs] started this journey of, of wellness and getting better,
5:28
I would say I was probably felt like one of the most hopeless, unchangeable... If you had asked anybody, "Could Leah Rush change?" They would say [laughs] absolutely not.
5:37
This girl's lost, and she's going to be lost forever. Mm. And I felt like that myself. Um, I really started my journey through a 12-step program, which I love just the practical application of
5:51
healing your emotional patterns, taking accountability, and getting a higher power that really ends up fueling you and healing you. Mm.
6:00
After that, I just became obsessed with every way I could possibly get better, make friends with my brain, actually live in my heart. Um, I always, I just feel emotional thinking about- [laughs]... um, just that period.
6:16
Mm.
6:16
And, and actually transferring to this hopeless, from this hopeless person to any kind of light in the world, which I feel like I became by, um, the process of unblocking myself from the patterns I had, the beliefs I had.
6:36
And, um, through my own journey, I became mostly very, um, interested in and obsessed with the subconscious mind. I became a hypnotherapist. I met Kyle.
6:47
Um, he actually turned me on even more to heart coherence, and then we started this journey together. I got, we got trained together.
6:54
You were already trained, like, as a coach, but we got trained to help, you know, a lot of people at once. Mm. And as wild as my life ever was, it's become...
7:05
He and I together are like [laughs] from day one, it's just, it's never been boring or ordinary. [laughs] And all the good parts, all the hard parts are just this exact perfect gift- Yeah...
7:19
to heal myself even more and to really- Mm... find love. [laughs] Well said. Mm. That's so beautiful. Oh, I love that both of you have really... You've come from some turmoil in your, in your past, and- Yes...
7:36
that quest to overcome, to improve yourself, to have a better life is ultimately what led you together. Yeah. And wow, that's really beautiful.
7:47
One of the most amazing parts of the heart that I loved in Joe Dispenza's book is how a clear intention, like the law of manifesting is a clear intention plus an elevated emotion, is how you manifest anything you want.
8:01
So the elevated emotion is heart coherence. Like, that's how we elevate our emotions. So I was actually, um, practicing manifesting, like, the love of my life- [laughs]... uh, doing a Brian Scott meditation.
8:15
So Brian Scott, uh, uh, a lot of your followers probably know him, such an incredible man, but he would guide the Quantum Healing Collective in live, um, meditations.
8:25
And, and one time he had us do this affinity palace meditation where we went into the Akashic Records, and we... There was different rooms in the Akashic Records.
8:34
You'd go in, and you'd imagine your optimal human being, like, in, in the best physical shape. You'd imagine your dream house, and then you'd imagine your dream significant other.
8:44
[laughs] I was in a completely different world at this time in my life. [laughs] And I remember being in this room and seeing this blonde [laughs] woman, like, specifically beautiful, gorgeous. She was eating kale.
8:55
[laughs] Um, doing yoga, like unbelievably, like, vivid. And, um, so I, I got interviewed by Brian Scott on his podcast, and, um, after that interview, Leah reached out to me via message, Messenger.
9:13
I had never met her before. And when she reached out to me, I knew it was her. I was like, "Oh, my gosh, like, you're that woman."
9:21
And so I, I was like, "This is wild that this beautiful lady's just reaching out to me that I imagined, so I need to set up a call." And so [laughs] I asked her if she'd, you know, have a call with me, and we...
9:34
I'm at work, and I'm on my lunch break, and I have this call with her, and she's describing herself, like when we're introducing each other, she's describing herself as me in, like, a woman form.
9:44
Like, same, like, sobriety ty- like, all these different things are mirror images. Same interests, same everything, and I, I was just dumbfounded.
9:52
And so I was like, "We need to meet in person," and Leah can tell that story. [laughs] Yeah, so, um, we actually talked just long distance 'cause we lived in different states, so we were really like friends.
10:05
Wait, hold on one second. Can I back up to the point where- Yeah, of course [laughs] When you, Leah, when you reached out to Kyle, were you... What were you thinking? Were you thinking, "This is my guy. I'm"... No.
10:17
Or you just liked what he said, or what were you thinking? Well, I'll tell you the real story of it is that I just, I saw this clip of an interview with him on Brian Scott, and I love Brian Scott.
10:28
So this to me felt like I'm seeing somebody who... Brian Scott, like, there's nobody more famous in my world than somebody who's been feeding me meditations and, like, healing me for years.
10:37
[laughs] So this was such a big deal. So I actually... At the time, Kyle really had a profile picture of him in, like, a hoodie. [laughs] So I had no thought like, "This is gonna be my dude."
10:48
[laughs] I just was like, "Oh, my God, someone I kind of know knows Brian Scott," because I guess he had friend requested me, like, you know, some time before that. Um, but I'd never had interaction with him.
10:59
So I actually wrote the message and unwrote it because I didn't wanna invite s- like, a date or something or whatever. [laughs] I really just wanted to talk about Brian Scott.
11:09
I wrote and unwrote that message two or three times, and then I was just like, "I'm just gonna send it. What... You know, whatever. The guy in the hoodie, he's, lives two states away. He's not gonna come get me."
11:18
[laughs] And then Kyle is... He's, he's, he's good. He swooped in. He, he was gonna have a call, you know, whatever we were gonna talk about. [laughs] It seemed exciting and stuff. He always is doing something exciting.
11:31
So that's how we got on that call. Awesome. And then- Okay, so take it from there. [laughs] We talked for months, and we really... I had the same feeling.
11:41
When I talked to him, I just thought, "Oh, my God, this is me as a guy," because I am really as hardcore as you could get into just every... It was like everything. Like, like, I'm obsessed with Chance now. I do this.
11:56
I like this music. I've read these books. Um, there was so much where I was just like, "Oh, my God, this is me as a man."
12:05
[laughs] So we talked, and, um, because as part of, um, being part of the Quantum Healing Collective, oftentimes somebody would offer him, like, y- like a free service or try this or do this. And there was a man- Raphael
12:24
Who, um, had offered him to use a NeurOptimal. NeurOptimal is a neurofeedback machine. I had recently become sort of obsessed with neurofeedback. I really, really wanted to try one or buy one.
12:37
So he had just been kind of, like, putting it off as another thing that he hadn't done, and I said, "I will take your free, you know, month thing of this machine. Please, can I have it?" [laughs] And so
12:49
I went to go get the NeurOptimal from, from Rafi, and he was gonna meet me there, you know, so we could all meet at once. And what ends up happening is,
13:00
first of all, I see him in the parking lot for the first time, and he's, he's a giant person. I think you can't really tell in interviews, but you're, like, 6'6". [laughs] Yeah. Oh, wow. So he...
13:12
Like, this giant man just standing in a parking lot, and he picked me up, like hugged me and picked me up. [laughs] And I was just like, "I'm home." Like, ah.
13:25
We go into a Panera, because that was the place [laughs] we were meeting. So we end up inside of a Panera.
13:31
It almost feels like a weird movie from the 1920s where you're, like, meeting and getting some weird machine- [laughs]... from this man in this secret location.
13:40
We get both hooked up to this NeurOptimal machine, look at each other, and it sort of has a display that has all these, like, psychedelic sort of patterns, almost like how a screensaver looks.
13:52
And he looks at me, and hooked up to this neurofeedback machine, we just have our first kiss. And, like [gasps]. And it, it [laughs] It was wild. It was like our brains, because of this machine- [laughs]...
14:05
like, actually harmonized. You could see it on the machine. They were unified. [laughs] Like, entire consciousness just, like, merged. Yeah. And we couldn't stop.
14:14
So it was, like, this wild moment in Panera [laughs] for like an hour- [laughs]... where everyone was just looking at us, and we couldn't even get out of it. And from there it was just, it was on. Yeah.
14:24
It's gotten no less weird. Yeah. And so as a result of that, because, like, we met in this magic, we love to teach people how to get really clear on their intentions and elevate their emotions.
14:38
So there's a lot of different ways we, we've learned to do that. We recently went through, um, John Gray's life coaching school. It's like a Mars-Venus life coach, relationship coach. You can coach people on anything.
14:48
Um, if they have any sort of goal, we can help them accomplish that. But we help people get really clear on what they want, establish that vision, and then hold them accountable in making it happen.
14:59
We come up with plans for them to change their life, and that's been pretty amazing. [laughs] Yeah. Yeah. Wow. Yeah. What gr- what a great, like, meeting story. I mean- [laughs]... that's about as good as it [laughs]
15:14
gets. Yeah. [laughs] Yeah. That's how it happened. And it's been like that actually ever since in the wildest ways. And like any... You know, it was mentioned in this how we help each other through each other's traumas.
15:24
It, it's like it's not all sunshine and rainbows, you know? [laughs] Like, there, there are these parts of us that were specifically chosen to come together to be healed.
15:35
And those are the hardest parts, but it's like our wounds specifically mirror each other.
15:40
And, and, like, now we're in that process of learning how to change our responses and, and become better at when those wounds appear.
15:50
And, and that's, like, for me, where the real growth is, and also what we love helping other people with, too, you know? Yeah. Absolutely. So, I mean, do you feel like you're a twin flame relationship?
16:02
[laughs] Uh, you know, I never feel totally cle- I feel like people use twin flame a lot, and a lot of times they almost are referring to something that almost is, like, strong but doesn't work out or is un- You know?
16:15
So I, I don't, I don't know, because I feel so sort of ambiguous about the definition of that, because I hear so many people- So what is it, what is a twin flame? Yeah... What does it mean to you?
16:25
Yeah, you know, that's the key piece, to you. Right. Yeah. And, and everybody's gonna kinda have their own way of seeing it. To me, it's really, like, a soul, a deeply soul-connected relationship where...
16:38
You know, like, like, for me, clues would be when you met, how you synced up, how everything just kinda fell into place.
16:47
Because a twin flame is really, like, when one soul brings two aspects of itself to this reality at the same time, and they meet and have a partnership.
16:59
And it can be, um, tumultuous as well, because you're such powerful reflectors for each other. Mm-hmm. You're constantly reflecting... Like you said, you know, you feel like the same [laughs] person in different bodies.
17:11
You're reflecting everything so intensely to each other. That's where the turmoil comes from, is, like, all of the stuff that you were hiding from or didn't want [laughs] to deal with or would... You know? Yeah.
17:24
It's in your face, 'cause it's, it literally is in your face [laughs] every day in this other- Yeah... part of yourself that's reflecting it back. So to me, a twin flame relationship is, it's...
17:36
You, you choose that when you're at a very, uh, uh, uh... When you're in an incarnation where you want a lot of transformation really fast. [laughs] Like, the fire coming in and burning up- Yeah...
17:51
all the stuff that needs to go. Yeah. You gotta be ready for that, and a lot of people aren't, so a lot of people when they get into a twin flame relationship it's like, "Whoa, no. Not ready for this," right? Yeah.
18:00
But if you're at a very high level, you can handle it, and that's what you guys are doing. You're, you're working through those things. Yeah. Well, and it's not always easy, you know?
18:09
It's like we're reflecting these wounds, and it's like you get so... It reminds you. Like, it sends you back into your human. Like, and it reminds you of, like- To get back on track with your spiritual practice.
18:20
But the one thing that I love about Leah is she's willing to stand in that arena.
18:25
Like, you know, we're, we're both willing to, like, have these [laughs] like almost like battles where we, we, like, will come back and be like, "What just happened?" [laughs] Like, "Let's actually look at this.
18:35
Let's break it down and realize that this doesn't have anything to do with you. It has... This is, like, our childhood playing itself out, so how can we respond differently next time?"
18:45
And we stand [laughs] in those battlegrounds again and again and keep showing up under the understanding that it's like if it's not you that I'm reflecting this with, it's gonna be somebody else, so let's just, like, own this right now.
18:57
We have this amazing opportunity to grow, and let's just do that. And, you know, it's like we, we come in, we come out, we come in, we come out.
19:05
We have such amazing love and chemistry, and all the intimacy and all the, the fun, you know, stuff.
19:12
And it's like, it's like it's so easy to learn somebody's love language, but it's harder to learn somebody's fight language, and that's, that's kinda what we're going through is, like, how can we fight better [laughs], you know?
19:25
Yeah. Yeah, you know, um, that's so powerful what you shared, and that is... You know, I mean, I feel like that's my ideal as well. Like, I won't even... And I've been single for three years now. I mean, I've,
19:38
I've dated, but [laughs] over long, mostly single. Anyway, um, but I won't, I won't be in a relationship where I don't have that level of...
19:49
You know, like, y- there's gotta be commitment and integrity and love, and it's, it's a big recipe.
19:55
And, you know, when you talk about fight language, I love that you said that because that's really important to know, right?
20:02
Um, in my, in my, uh, my husband and I that broke up three years ago, so we were together for 13 years. We had to establish that from the beginning.
20:14
He wants to have it out right there, and I know that if I have it out, I'm gonna blow up and say something that I don't mean- Yeah... and that I, you can't take back those words, right? Mm-hmm.
20:23
So I, my, our agreement was, all right, uh, he'll wait. I'll go. I'll cool down. I'll have my time. But as soon as I'm ready, then I'll come back.
20:35
And it's like torture for him to wait [laughs] and it's hard for me to come back 'cause I don't wanna get back into that state. So that was our agreement.
20:43
It actually worked really well, um, to, to just to know that about each other. I would love for Leah to talk about, like... So, so our wounds, our fights have driven us to learn.
20:56
So whatever we're going through, we actually use that as motivation to learn. And, and so it's like we have recognized that we just have different languages, so where can we go study these different languages?
21:10
And that's why we got certified in John Gray's Relationship School because it's Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus. He wrote all these books about why men and women are different. Mm. So we've been studying that.
21:20
Mm. And maybe you could speak a little bit about that. And then also Imago, how the, uh, the, the childhood wounds. So I'd love to hear you. Yeah.
21:29
So I think the major big thing is how men and women generally handle stress differently. Mm.
21:35
Like, in general, and there always can be, like, people are nuanced obviously, but I think we can usually get together in groups with the same sex, uh, friends and say commonalities, laugh about them, and why, why is anything ever funny?
21:49
It's 'cause it's true. It's 'cause there's things that are generally true. So I think, um, like... And the thing that you described, I think it, it almost is usually a little opposite, where, um,
22:04
I have the role that your husband is in, where I wanna, I'm anxious about it, I wanna talk about it. Are you okay? Are you mad at me? I don't want you to be mad at me. And, um- I wanna retreat...
22:15
and h- he wants to retreat. That is generally a masculine quality to want to shut off, retreat. Generally, I wanna talk, and I can talk it out and talk about everything and- [laughs]...
22:28
just link it to everything, and it makes me feel better to talk. [laughs] Like, it, it genuinely does. Yes. By the time I'm done talking, I feel better. Mm.
22:36
Whereas I think that you talking results in you saying things you don't wanna say sometimes. Yeah. Yeah. Or it n- it nourishes, I think- Mm... your sense of anger or emotionality.
22:49
Yeah, and then so there's this part of, like, um, a- and again, this is just general, uh, but when a woman will speak, a man's natural tendency is to try to give a solution, and that's not what the woman wants.
23:02
She just wants to be heard. So, like, little simple things like this of, of Leah being in this, you know, state where she wants to just speak her, whatever she's going through.
23:11
She doesn't want me to tell her, like, "This is what you should do." She just actually wants to be heard. So if I tell her, like, "That's not a big deal. Do this," that's gonna, like, erupt her brain.
23:23
[laughs] She's like, "I need to vent." So for me to know the difference between, like, causing her to erupt by saying one thing and instead letting her,
23:31
like, let that out and just say, "Oh," like, "Tell me more about that. What do you mean by that?" like, actually is so healthy for her. Mm. And so we've studied all these different ways to try to create peace [laughs]
23:43
in the relationship by learning the actual fundamental differences from a general perspective of men and women and then trying to, um, incorporate those into our daily practice. Wow.
23:54
Yeah, I think you were starting to say too that Imago therapy, which I think some people are familiar with, but it's essentially that- Mm...
24:01
you choose someone really to, to finish off your unhealed wounds with your parents. Mm. And there's this weird process that happens where you, there's romantic love, and
24:14
I don't know how it happens, but many times the things you actually loved somebody for become the things that drive you crazy- Mm... at the end of it. Mm.
24:22
I think because- They're the things that are, like, almost you could wish were true about yourself. Yeah. And so they're attractive in the beginning.
24:32
Um, but then they end up just reminding you of what these original wounds are. So there's a whole way to communicate- Mm...
24:40
where we have the basic same pattern where- [laughs] Um, and, and, and we're, like, sort of getting out of it a little bit I think because of Imago, but also just because I think personally I've been really focused on
24:55
being less and less attached emotionally to what- Mm... anybody's doing. Yeah. Just really returning to I'm peace, I'm love- Mm... I'm happiness. Just being more and more unattached to anything, any circumstance.
25:14
Um, not perfect with that yet, but I'm definitely getting better and it's helping me, and then also just to break some patterns. But we have a general pattern which is,
25:23
I think because of prior maybe times where I feel attacked, I get defensive. I feel misunderstood, I get defensive, I explain.
25:33
This is literally, in my mind, no matter how many times [laughs] this has happened, I believe I'm going to be able to talk him into why I didn't mean anything bad. This is what I was doing.
25:43
I love you, is basically what I'm saying, and I wanna tell you why I'm not bad and why I didn't mean that, why... And to me, it's like I'm gonna explain him why I love him. He wants to just be understood and validated.
25:59
Mm. And so I'm literally giving him the opposite- [laughs]... of what he wants. Yeah.
26:04
But over and over, I'm convinced that if I just say the right thing in the right way- Yeah, because for me, it's coming off as her saying, "You're wrong for feeling this way." [laughs] And that drives me nuts.
26:15
[laughs] So, you know, like Leah was saying, there's these practices that we're doing to just learn these things, and it takes a while, and you're, you're gonna mess up, and you're gonna mess up.
26:25
But if you can really focus on the practice of what you wanna do differently, you'll eventually get it. And, like, we're noticing that we're responding differently.
26:33
We still, like, have struggles, but we are actually responding differently, which feels amazing. And another technique that, uh, I've been using lately is called inner bonding.
26:42
Um, I'm not sure if you're f- familiar with inner bonding. But it's basically, like, just giving yourself the love you want, you know, and recognizing that whenever something comes up, you know,
26:54
from your partner, like, there- there's some sort of love you're not giving yourself.
27:00
And one of the things that they were saying is, that I really respected, was, like, your level of anger correlates to the amount of areas you're neglecting to give yourself the love you need.
27:11
And so I've taken that as motivation to propel me into giving myself more love, because I don't wanna be angry in my relationship. So that means, like, increase my diet.
27:21
You know, if I'm eating bad food, that could mean that I end up being more angry because I'm not loving myself. Like, I'm, I'm knowingly eating stuff that's not good for me. That might show up as me being angry.
27:32
You know? So it's like I'm using, um, this inner bonding practice as a way to motivate me to just be a better man and treat myself with more love. And 'cause that's what it is.
27:43
I mean, if you love yourself, primarily you're, you're gonna show up so much better in your relationship. And all those little things that seem to be big deals won't bother you as much. Yeah. Mm. Yeah. Absolutely.
27:57
I, I don't know that term or that particular style, but it's totally relevant to, you know, [laughs] like, to everything. I, I, like, I feel like everything that comes up,
28:09
every emotion, every, everything we're processing, it just, it wants acknowledgement. It's a part of ourselves that wants to be seen, heard, acknowledged, loved on some level.
28:19
There's, like, there's something missing, therefore something's out of balance or out of alignment. And when you can acknowledge it, not judge it, not try and change it, just acknowledge it and love it, then- Yeah...
28:32
the balance is restored. Yeah.
28:35
And, and one thing that, uh, like, a trend I've noticed is I run this men's group on Thursday where we, we, like, get together as a group and we do gratitude practices, and then we share what we're grateful for.
28:49
But then we also just talk about anything, um, that we're struggling with. And it's just, like, m- men in general have been bred to just be so tough, you know?
29:03
And, like, push these things down and, and, like, just keep pushing through these things that are really bothering them and not love themselves. And they've never really had other men to connect with.
29:13
It's just fascinating. I have this group of, like, 20 guys, and every single one of them said they've never had other men that they can connect with in the way that we do.
29:22
And so, uh, you know, that's a huge thing for Leah and I both, is just community and what community can do to transform these wounds. 'Cause sometimes it's easy to feel alone.
29:32
And, um, and when we're alone, you know, we're caught in self, and that's, for me, when all the disease arises. But when I'm in a community, I feel more whole, and that's when all the he- healing happens.
29:43
So we've both made it a priority to be plugged into different communities, um, you know, together and separately. We find that that's important as well. To have her space and my space.
29:54
But there's so much power in tribe, you know? Yeah. Absolutely. And I'm glad that you present, you know, like, that divine masculine group. By the way, is that, is that something that's open to other men joining? Yeah.
30:09
All are welcome. Um- Yeah, it's a, it's a lot of fun, and the most amazing group of men I've ever met. It's like soul tribe, just spirit brothers coming in left and right. Nice... please.
30:19
So yeah We'll have to get your, your co- Yeah, we'll put your links or however to get a hold of you about that in your notes too, 'cause I know there will be many people that are interested in joining that. Yeah.
30:29
And that is so important to have, you know, the divine masculine groups, the divine feminine groups, because we do interact and express differently.
30:37
And, and for men to be able to have that outlet of, you know, it is, it is safe and it is normal to express emotion and to be vulnerable and to, you know, just, just to, to have the openness among each other.
30:54
And that culturally is not, hasn't been the norm. Mm. Absolutely. Yeah. I think it makes, I think it makes you so much more well to be doing things with men. Oh, for sure. Yeah, there's something- I love that...
31:11
yeah, there's something, uh, that's so primal, but it, it's very healing. You know, I went... And again, like my lessons in life and, and all the groups that I've created have come from my own pain, you know?
31:24
It's like I created the Heart Coherence Collaborative because I needed to get into my heart, because I wasn't in my heart, and I was addicted to fear.
31:30
Created the Quantum Healing Collective for the same reason, but I created this men's group because I went through a period of isolation where I was struggling, and I listened to this podcast where they were talking about the root chakra and how, like, our root chakra gets balanced when we feel a part of a tribe.
31:48
Like- Mm... w- when we're with like-minded people that we feel like we can relate to, and I, I realized I was not doing that.
31:55
And so I was like, "I have to [laughs] I have to bring this back into my life," and I started doing it, and I started feeling good again. You know? And, and one of the things that I really love about AA,
32:05
um, that's beyond... So Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous, all those A, you know, uh, programs, what they all speak about is how it's beyond.
32:16
Like, the alcohol is just a symptom, and what they talk about is the root cause of these diseases is selfishness in the form of fear, resentment, dishonesty, self-seeking behavior.
32:28
So for me [laughs] that, learning that changed my whole life. It's like if the root of my disease actually isn't this thing that I'm putting in me, it's, it's something else, what can I do to heal that?
32:40
And to me, that's living a life, life of selflessness. So service, that's another huge thing that Leah and I really bond on, is how committed we are to helping other people. Leah actually, I mean, it blows my mind.
32:53
I admire her. The amount of women that she's helping through their struggles, it's actually one of the most [laughs] attractive and beautiful things that when we first met, I was blown away.
33:02
And even throughout, like there was periods where I wasn't on my service game, and I'm just looking at her and all the work she's doing in the world, and I'm like, "Wow, this is...
33:11
" And I can tell that there's a direct correlation b- with her and everybody that I observe in the world with, like, their quality of life and how, like, willing they are to serve, you know? Mm. I love that.
33:26
It's, you know, in, in, in the conversation of expanded states, it's like service w- I think of service oftentimes coming as an effect of reaching a higher level of consciousness. Mm-hmm.
33:41
But I think e- even from what you're sharing, it feels like there's also the possibility of service opening the door to higher consciousness for many people. Um- Yeah...
33:53
and so n- regardless of how you get there, service is a portal to higher consciousness and expanded states because that is reflective of being beyond yourself, about not being self-oriented or, or totally service to self.
34:09
When you're service to others, you know, that really is an avenue of, of great healing and expansion. So Leah, uh, along those lines, what... Tell me about, um, what... How do you serve? How do you love to serve?
34:24
You know, I, I liked what you said, and I think it is sort of a chicken or the egg thing. Yeah.
34:28
That I, that they're both true, but I think, you know, at a certain time, I think I transferred as just a mindset that all the hard parts of my life were in service.
34:41
That, because I have experienced just some really, like just really hard things that I thought would take me under. And
34:52
through the process of helping people and how, what my pain has taught me and the fact that I
35:02
recovered from it, I would say even, like, thrived after it, I felt like I, I transferred from this feeling of self-pity to almost like everything hard that happened to me was in service.
35:16
Because it beco- it became how I helped people. Like, I could sit with almost anybody and say, "A, you have hope, and B, I know what that feels like." And I don't think there's any more power than that.
35:30
So at a certain point, I just decided that all the hardest parts of my life were a gift, and every time it gets hard... And, and I would say recently because it, it got really hard.
35:42
I would say I've had, you know, in the last six years, what felt like the hardest period.
35:46
Um, my dog, who's the love of my life, who came into my life after my mom died and right when I was sick, like this angel, he got diagnosed with cancer, um, which felt really hard.
35:59
At the same time, it's just a bunch of other stuff and hard things, and it kinda knocked me over. And it was the first time I felt like... And it's, it's so gross and unpalatable. Self-pity is like...
36:12
[laughs] I mean, self-pity will just take you down,
36:16
and I kind of started feeling like that, like- I think in just the trauma of it all, this old feeling of like, "Everyone you, you love is gonna die," [laughs] like these old pop-up thoughts and beliefs. Um,
36:32
but at a certain point, it actually pushed me to go even deeper into finding the truth of my own peace and happiness. Because if you can do that when everything's falling apart, then it's real. Then you actually have it.
36:47
So even through all that, I think to change into what has grown to be my comfortable mindset, which is like, "I'll get through this. I will transcend this, and this will become how I help people."
36:59
Even like the harder parts of our stuff, I love that everything that we transcend can be how we help people in their relationships.
37:07
'Cause you, if you have to do the hardest things, and you do them, and you find the path out of the woods, you can hold people's hand and show them the way out, and I just love that. So- Mm...
37:18
so the service that I do, I mean, I, I help mostly women, um, in my practice. But I do a lot with, um, people in recovery. Um, and
37:31
yeah, just the little secret ways that you help people or, you know, all the things that hopefully one day it's your funeral, and there'll be 1,000 people that show up and say, "She sent me soup when I was sick," you know.
37:45
Mm. "She paid for my house to be cleaned after I had a baby." Just all the things that my family taught me how to do to just love people, you know- Yeah... without getting any credit. [laughs] Yeah.
38:00
I think that stuff is like probably the biggest gift that my family gave me, so I, I wouldn't even consider it of my own will or anything really good that I created. I actually was just gifted.
38:12
On my mom's side of my family, they are just the kind of people that show up, that paint a room, that do stuff, and loving in action in little like the secret ways that you can help people, especially women. Mm.
38:25
'Cause I think there's so many women who are just like single moms, head barely above water, having another baby, having to do 5,000 things and work. I love helping women. Mm. I just love helping women. Yeah.
38:41
That's beautiful, and I love that you, that you presenced it's not always, like, the big dramatic things that make the difference.
38:52
You know, yeah, sure, if you're a millionaire, you can donate hundreds of thousands of dollars to good causes. Great, right? [laughs] But, but the things that make...
38:59
the things that people are gonna remember are those little everyday type of things that show that somebody cares. Yeah. And that changes lives.
39:10
It's like what you were saying about like, you know, did the service allow you to feel the wholeness, like the chicken or the egg thing. And, uh, for me, um, basically doing...
39:23
Like what, what I wanna say is the, the unity vision, the wholeness, like seeing everything as one. Like, you know, you, you were talking about the expanded consciousness. Um, that,
39:35
like you were saying, causes you to want to be more of service. I started doing service first, and then that made me feel whole.
39:43
But once you feel whole and you realize that we're all one thing, it causes you to [laughs] wanna do more service 'cause it's like what's good for you is good for me. And so
39:52
I actually recognized recently, I was reading, um, Lee Harris's new book, Conversation with Disease, and was talking about how we always have these guides with us supporting us.
40:02
And it made me realize that I've been given a gift of, like a s- a gift of service, but it's unique in weaving webs of networks.
40:11
Like so I, behind the scenes, will connect spiritual leaders, and it's just something that happens through these downloads that I get.
40:18
I get these ideas of like, "Tell this person about this person," and I've been doing it for years.
40:23
[laughs] And it's just become like this little thing, and I don't know why it's become my thing, but it's actually magical.
40:29
And I realized just by reading Lee's book that it, it was l- I think it's actually like my, like one of my purposes that I was given on, to come down here and help weave webs to expand human consciousness to, to take people to an elevated place.
40:45
And I don't know what that is for everybody, but, um, just listen to your inner guidance. The heart helps us do that.
40:51
But when I started going into the heart, that's when I was getting all these messages like, "Reach out to this person. Reach out to that person, and connect this person with that person." And
41:01
now I, I like speak or seek for all these different huge podcasts behind the scenes, and it's just become like my passion. Mm. Yeah. Yeah.
41:10
You know, I'm reminded to say, and I, I think this might even be a little bit more important for women, but there, there is this big difference between service and people pleasing. Mm. And I, I have a...
41:24
You know, I, I've, I have probably at times felt a sense of like you're giving too much. Mm. And I can feel that. Like if you're giving from an empty cup, you can just tell.
41:36
Or if you're giving so somebody likes you- Mm-hmm... there's a different spirit in service and in people pleasing, and it can get confusing- Mm. Mm... I think more so even for women. Um, but I have a good no.
41:48
Like I, you know, I could feel that in myself at a certain point like, "I wanna show up with the perfect cupcakes to this party," and like, [laughs] I don't have time to make cupcakes today.
41:57
[laughs] I'm doing other things, and I don't need to be the girl with perfect cupcakes. But what I could give, I did, and I feel good in myself.
42:05
So there's a way to keep track of your own emotional sense, your nos and your yeses, and I think that's really important. And you can feel when you're giving from an empty or full cup. Mm.
42:16
And I think it's important to look at your motivations and why. Yeah. Yeah. Absolutely. And, and, and just to like- Kind of punctuate that.
42:26
I think the more we step into our leadership roles, the more we're able to, you know, to shift that feeling of, "Ugh, I don't have any more to give," to, "Of course I have more to give." Mm-hmm.
42:41
I mean, and, and not from a place of inauthenticity, but, like, the, the whole... The more you get the concept of give for the sake of giving- Yeah... because, because the giving fills you- Yes...
42:53
then it becomes giving for the sake of giving, not giving for the sake of getting the likes or pleases- Right... like you're saying. It... There is a distinction there. Totally.
43:05
And you're right, women, girls, are trained to be- Yes... pleasers. Yeah. And that's a big thing to overcome. Yeah. Yeah.
43:14
It, it really, really is, and I don't think there's anything more satisfying in life to actually just, like, I care about people, but I don't care what they think about me. Mm. Mm. Yeah, that's big.
43:27
[laughs] One thing I want to just add for anyone listening is I have actually found it incredibly helpful, um, to make it a part of, like, my daily prayers to put people in my life that I can help.
43:41
Like, when I say that and then I thank m- my higher power at the end of the day for doing it, it, it just, like, feeds that. Uh, it just shows up more, you know? That prayer is always answered. Yes.
43:52
I feel like that is an answered prayer, a guaranteed- And it's so cool when it comes in. Yeah. Like, I'll have this guy be like, "Hey, I like your shirt," and I'll just take off my shirt and give it to him.
44:00
[laughs] But it... I knew that was the opportunity to do it, you know? And so it's- Wow... it's magical.
44:06
If, if you're listening, give it a try, and not only will that magic show up, but you'll start feeling better about yourself, you know? Yeah. Yeah, and Kyle, I...
44:14
Another thing I can say about you is about the connector aspect. Mm. You've been super helpful to me in helping me connect with people, speakers, you know, people that I wanna reach out to and collaborate with. So I...
44:27
That is absolutely a powerful gift, and we need those connectors in the world, and it's, you know, it's, like, such an integral part of the web work, the grid work that we- Mm... that we get to connect.
44:40
Some people do it naturally. Other people are more, like, you know, like, need some help, and, and so you're the link for, for people like that. And, and it came, too, again, from my own struggle.
44:52
So I was, I was going to a specific fellowship, and I was going to that fellowship and I was healing. Um, but I was recognizing that the meeting was still vibrating at a, a frequency of probably fear. Mm.
45:05
So I was going to this meeting. It was h- it was helping me because I was part of a tribe, but I realized that people were still talking a lot about what they're fearful of. There was a lot of anger.
45:14
There was still a lot of that going on, which is fine, but as Joe Dispenza talks about, what we focus on ex- expands. So I was leaving these meetings, I was going home to my mom, who was saying, "I'm not, I'm not,
45:27
like, qualified to go to that meeting because I'm not one of those people that, that, like, identifies that way.
45:33
But I would like a fellowship like that because I would like to heal like you're healing, so how could I do that?" And to me, that was the basis for, for coming up with the Quantum Healing Collective with Kristin.
45:45
It's like, how can we start our meeting by raising our frequency?
45:49
So we start each meeting with a heart coherence, uh, meditation, and then we invite someone new to share something they think will promote growth in the group. And so it's all focused on growth, not the wound.
46:02
And so that was, like, a local group, 10 people s- at first, and we're doing this heart coherence in a circle, and then there's 20, 50, and then COVID hit.
46:12
And this is how I actually became, like, a networker in the way that I, I have, is when COVID hit, we went virtual, and I realized that I could reach out to any of my spiritual favorite leaders in the world and ask them if they'd come speak, thinking that they would say no.
46:27
But, like, when I spilled my heart, I got really clear. I, I got a clear intention and elevated emotion, and I imagined them coming before they even did and celebrated that.
46:37
They just all started saying yes, and you were one of them, you know? And it was, like, all these cool people that were teaching these incredible practices that could heal my friends, myself, my family. Mm.
46:48
I wanted them to come speak and just... I need to learn, so it's like, "Who's, who can come teach me?" And it became so fun. All these leaders from all over the world started showing up to just teach my friends and I.
46:58
It was, like, the most incredible playground. And so weaving that web just continues to expand because it's so much fun. Yes. Yeah, and there's a key element. It's so much fun. Yeah. It's not work when you're having fun.
47:14
It's like expansion is fun. [laughs] Yeah. Yes. I feel like sometimes it's like it's not fun before it happens. [laughs] Maybe. [laughs] It's like, "Ugh, ah." Yeah. But the...
47:31
It, I just, it is so, it is so nice. I think... I don't know. I know that there's people that think of this in different ways, and maybe if you, you know, transcend everything, I think it just gets easy.
47:42
But perhaps from where I am, there's, like, the... There's that little bit of, like, hardness that then goes to the fun- Yeah... expansion. And it is...
47:55
I'm not sure that there isn't a better way to do it, but I don't think there's a better way to do it to then be able to help other people- Mm. Which I feel like is our theme. Yeah.
48:06
I feel like that's the good theme of our lives. Yeah. Yeah, 'cause it, it's a growth process. Yeah. So we're going in and out of being human and being spiritual.
48:13
[laughs] And it's like the only way to transcend these things is through, you know?
48:17
And so it's like we're [laughs] learning through the, as we go, and that can be tough, but on the other side, there's a lot of celebration. Yeah. You know?
48:25
Like, just doing things a little bit differently the next time is, is so amazing. And you are the best partner- [laughs]... for that. [laughs] I, I mean, I- You don't give up, no matter what, [laughs] and I love that.
48:39
That's probably what I love about you, too. Mm. I feel like it's very unlikely that you find a person that's as committed to growth. Like, it's... I just...
48:50
Somewhat of it is kind of hilarious, 'cause like you feel like- [laughs]... you're this, like, giant, masculine man. But at the same time, like,
48:59
whenever we talk about inner bonding, then you get into it, and then Kyle, this giant man, who's also sometimes just, like, working out and grunting- [laughs]... is doing inner bonding stuff- [laughs]...
49:11
and, like, looking at his feelings, and working through, and reading the next book, and it's actually amazing to have that level of commitment. Mm. I, I just actually didn't even almost dream that I...
49:21
You would even find that. There's... With some corner of a hope, but it's so unusual really. It's just whatever. Like- [laughs]... I don't wanna struggle, [laughs] you know? I don't like that.
49:32
You, you'll literally do anything. I'll surrender no matter what. Yeah. Like, any- And this comes up in- Anything... like, every aspect of a relationship. Like, we will look at it, you know?
49:41
And we'll question each other if there's areas that we're neglecting.
49:45
And I remember, like, when we first started, like, this is a little personal, but, like, there was some sex things going on where it's like, oh, we're retreating in this area.
49:53
And I was just like, "Let's just throw it all on the table." And then we started studying different sex practices to help us grow through those areas, and then it got amazing.
50:02
And it just, like, s- so it's like we will not back down from growth in any area, and that's what's cool, and we hold each other accountable. So, like, she'll say to me like, "Hey, why are you retreating on this?"
50:14
And I'll say the same thing, and then [laughs] we look at it. [laughs] Honesty, open-mindedness, willingness. [laughs] Yeah. Yeah. You guys are amazing. I, I love that this is turning...
50:30
Or well, this, this conversation is expanded, reaching expanded states through the dynamics of relationship. Yeah. Even the contractions, you know?
50:41
And as you're, as you're talking about, you know, like, like, getting to the expansion can be really hard, and then there... It's, it's all like birth to me. Everything that we go through, it's...
50:51
Think about, you know, going through the birth canal. It's contract, contract, contract, compression. You know, it's uncomfortable, it's tight, it's, "Ah." And then, "Woo, I'm out," you know?
51:00
[laughs] And that's what this all is, you know?
51:04
It's, it's allowing the contraction to be the thing that takes us to the birth, to the expansion, and being willing to go through that tight, constricted, difficult stuff in order to get life, you know, breath.
51:22
And that's the beauty of all of the transformational processes. Yeah. And particularly, you know, as you're exemplifying here, the value of a relationship, whether you wanna call it a twin flame relationship or not.
51:36
It feels like that dynamic where it's an ascended love relationship. You're committed to going through the contraction to get the expansion, no matter what it takes, and that's incredible. You know?
51:53
That is the beauty of relationship, truly. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So who knows what things will come up for us to learn from, but we will learn from them, and it'll become a part of our practice. You know? Yeah. Indeed. Yes.
52:07
I love this conversation. I feel like this was the perfect conversation to have right now, and it just, it made me actually just even more energized and motivated to enjoy every part of this process. Mm. Yeah.
52:26
Yeah. Of living, of being, of being in a relationship. Yeah. You know? Like, we came here to do this. We came here to get our hands dirty. Yeah. Exactly. It's a gift. To come here, to just- It's all a gift...
52:38
you know, just be like, "I'm born. Ah." [laughs] We came here to, like, get in it, get our hands dirty, and be... It's, it's so much shinier when you
52:49
go through some darkness, and you have to find the doors and open them. Mm. Yeah. Yeah. Right? Because if it was all light all the time, we might as well just stay in the spirit world. What's the point- Right...
52:59
you know, [laughs] of coming into physicality? Just the coming into physicality is coming into an experience of challenge, and contrast, and diversity- Oh... and all of the stuff that goes along with that. [laughs] Yeah.
53:13
Yeah, and we study all the magic, too. You know, like, all the different ways, from having all these different leaders come teach us. We're very well-versed in all the magic- Yeah...
53:20
to make transformation happen even quicker. So w- there's just so many amazing things that show up for us, and we are truly blessed.
53:29
And I just wanna s- say before, you know, we go is the Heart Coherence Collaborative, um, is an amazing place if anyone's listening that wants to just have a, a place they can go to that will hold them accountable for going into the heart regularly to elevate their emotions.
53:47
That's what we try to offer just through doing regular challenges, through group support. It's just a safe space to come and know you're gonna get a meditation post that's in your best interest, and amazing people there.
54:00
And Aliyah guides a lot of incredible meditation. So it's just, it's just become a really fun place that if you're listening, come join us. Um, we'll love you up, love to get to know you. And is that on your Facebook?
54:12
Yeah. Everything's happening on Facebook. Yeah. I put it to your channel, too. Yeah. And YouTube. Yeah. Heart Coherence Collaborative. Yeah. And if someone just types in Heart Coherence Collaborative, will they find you?
54:21
Absolutely. Okay. Okay, great. Awesome.
54:24
Oh my gosh, it's been so i- wonderful to have you two and just I love seeing you interact, and the way you really do, like, bounce off of each other and just I can see you growing together, like, in every moment.
54:37
It's really an incredible thing [laughs] to, to witness and watch, and a great example for anyone who wants to have a, a really powerful relationship where you're growing together and not just, you know, growing apart.
54:54
Um, so before you leave, I wanna make sure we tell everyone you have a free gift, which is a relationship course. Tell us about that. Yeah.
55:02
So we, we just went through the John Gray, um, school and there's a relationship workshop. Um, so we are gonna offer a training that everyone's invited to come to for free. Mm-hmm.
55:13
And then we also have a relationship course we created for Kim D'Eramo, who's a physician, that we put together, and it's an amazing recording, so we'll send that to whoever's interested.
55:22
We'll send it to you and you can share it with anybody. So- Wonderful... [laughs] actually, we didn't even get into this, but that is coherent communication focused.
55:31
So it's basically how you can bring your heart into your relationship. And so, you know, Leah and I had this practice for a while where we would, uh... She'd put her hand on my heart, I'd put my hand on her heart.
55:41
We'd breathe rhythmically through each other's... through our heart centers, and then we'd link it, and then we'd think about things we appreciate in one another. And you actually, um...
55:51
It's like an entanglement on a quantum level, and it creates this, um... Y- your, your, um, heart rhythms unify, and you basically become like one organism [laughs] for that moment in time.
56:02
But it does all these incredible things where you become in tuned to everything about your partner. Like, when I'm not with Leah, I'll know when she texts my phone. You know, I'll know when she needs me.
56:15
I'll know everything. It's just you're becoming... It, it's a practice to become connected, uh, at the heart level, and then also how to respond, um, better by using the heart.
56:27
So to take pauses and breathe through your heart when a trigger comes up. Little things like that. So we found it... That was, like, our first lesson in, um, like our f- our...
56:36
the first thing we used to try to transform our relationship. So that w- that's what everyone will be getting, and we'll have more courses in the future. Awesome. I love your work with the heart. The heart is so much...
56:48
It's a huge part of my work. It's a stargate. It's portal. It's the connection to the divine. When you have it activated, you...
56:55
It's, it's just this infinite, authentic power that radiates and connects people, and I, I love that that's c- the centerpiece of your work as well. Um, so I just wanna thank you guys again.
57:11
Thank you so much for all that you brought and offer, and your generosity, and just who you are in the world, these radiant lights. Thank you for being here today. Thank you as well. Thank you so much. Yeah.
57:22
You just really reminded me of just how much I love [laughs] Kyle, and life, and just everything, so thank you. Yeah. You're- And thank you for who you're showing up as, too. Yes. It's been an honor. We love you.
57:33
Thank you for all the times- It's been so great... you've come on all our different groups and showed up, and just given yourself selflessly and, and taught such amazing practices to our group.
57:43
