One of the biggest misconceptions about psychic development is that psychic information should arrive in some unmistakably supernatural way, like hearing a booming voice, seeing a crystal-clear vision, or receiving a message so obvious that you couldn’t possibly question where it came from.
Occasionally it does happen that way, but more often than not, the experience feels surprisingly ordinary. A subtle thought, an image flashes through your mind, or a feeling or sense of knowing briefly flutters through your chest.
Because these impressions can feel so ordinary, it’s easy to dismiss them as imagination or not pay attention to them at all. When something happens later that confirms what you received, you realize there may have been more to that fleeting impression than you thought.

When you receive an unexpected impression, a knowing, a vision, or an idea seemingly out of the blue… resist the urge to analyze it or judge it.
Write down exactly what you received, then go about your day and see what happens. Do this for a week, then review what you wrote.
Over time, you may begin noticing patterns in how information comes through specifically for you. It begins with paying attention to what you’re already receiving and learning to trust it.
