Aloha Beautiful Soul,

For thousands of years, across mystical traditions that had no contact with each other, human beings described the same thing. An inner eye. A capacity for perception that reached beyond ordinary physical sight into something older, deeper, and more direct.

The third eye chakra, located in the space between and just above the eyebrows, has been associated with clairvoyance across cultures for millennia, the ability to perceive images, symbols, and visions that arrive through an inner channel. These experiences can be vivid and cinematic or quiet and fleeting.

The pineal gland sits deep at the center of the brain. René Descartes famously called it the seat of the soul. This tiny structure has fascinated spiritual seekers for a reason, and many who work seriously with inner vision report sensations at the third eye center that correspond with their most vivid perceptions.

If you have ever wondered whether your third eye is activated, here is a simple way to find out.

Close your eyes and take a few slow breaths, letting your body settle. Gently bring your awareness to the space between your eyebrows and allow your attention to rest there softly without forcing anything.

Then ask inwardly: what image or symbol would be meaningful for me to receive today?

Notice what shows up without trying to force or change it. It might be a clear image, a fleeting color, a shape, or a scene that unfolds briefly. It might feel like imagination at first, and that is fine. Stay with it gently and just notice. Write it down and review it at the end of the day.

The more you practice this, the more familiar you become with your own inner visual language and how to interpret it.
