Aloha Beautiful Soul,
In 2009, someone asked a room full of people a simple question.
"Do you remember Nelson Mandela dying in prison?"
Hands went up. People nodded. They remembered the news coverage, the conversations, the funeral footage. The memory felt solid, specific, real.
There was just one problem. It never happened.
Nelson Mandela was released from prison in 1990, went on to become South Africa's first Black president, and lived until 2013.
That moment gave rise to what we now call the Mandela Effect, and once you start looking, the examples are everywhere. The Monopoly Man never had a monocle. Fruit of the Loom never had a cornucopia in their logo. C-3PO had a silver leg that almost no one remembers. Pikachu never had black on his tail. Movie quotes we have been repeating for decades turn out to be slightly off.
Psychologists will tell you this is simply how memory works. We do not store perfect recordings of the past. We reconstruct them, filling in gaps and details without realizing we are doing it.
But what if something else is happening? Parallel timelines or consciousness shifting between realities. What we call memory might sometimes be an accurate record of something that was true in a version of reality we no longer inhabit.
I am not here to tell you what is true. What fascinates me is the experience itself. When you encounter something you have believed to be a certain way your entire life and suddenly you discover there is an entirely different collective narrative about it, what does that do to your concept of reality? How does it make you feel?
That feeling is worth paying attention to.
If our memories can be collectively, confidently wrong about something as significant as the death of a world leader, what else are we remembering that did not happen the way we think it did?
What if, when we disagree with someone over the details of how a certain event or experience happened, we are both right?
Timelines are changing, converging, and shifting quickly these days. Next time your memory disagrees with someone else’s account, stop and consider the possibility that you could have shifted timelines and the way it happened in your reality may have been slightly different in theirs.

“I truly have to say that this is an amazing service that you have provided to the collective! I’ve been able to work on things that I thought were already cleared. Turns out they were not, however through this app and work they are being addressed. Not only those things but I’m learning to be gentle with myself and sit with my feelings a lot more. So many things came up for me in just the first 3 days that I had unconsciously been stuffing down inside to remain what I thought was strong. The reality is that my strength comes from acknowledging the vulnerabilities. I can’t wait to do tomorrow’s work. Thank you Waxela Sananda🙏🏽” ~Phoenix G
